at home i have this thermometer compass thing and on it it reached101 f which i think its 38c it was in countesthorpe in leicester in england it works because i've seen it move it was outside in the garden today so is it right

it depends if it is in the direct sunlight as they are suposed to be in the shade

It feels that hot, even though it's probably not right. I think the temp in Leicester has maxed at 30c so far today, but prediction was 29c High, 15c Low

My car thermometer says its 33 in Staffordshire

Check it is reading a shade temperature - this is how weather temperatures are meant to be measured NOT direct sun.
