If you do not get email, then there is something wrong. If you are testing your yahoo mail or any web based email, then you probably enter wrong email address. If you are testing your email that is using outlook or any other standalone product, then you need to go to settings/preferences and see what is your set up. You might misspelled something and that is why you do not get it. Sometimes you want your yahoo email be forwarded to outlook or any other mail client. You need to check what is correct SMTP and POP addresses are and make sure that you copy them correctly into the mail client application. Then it should work. Good luck!

there is no reason why you can't, I do it all the time, but you may be behind a firewall, or have your email setting set up where it will not come through, also, check your spam folder, not knowing what ISP you have, it is hard to get specific as each one has differences.

Your e-mail address could be blocked. Mine was, and I didn't do it. I un-blocked it and it is fine now. I have Yahoo. I have no clue how it happened.

it shouldn't make a difference who you send an email to as long as it's to a valid email address. if yours doesn't work, then you should contact your email provider.
