It definitely appears to be so. And, the so-called G-8 leaders did not seem to be serious about finding a solution. Consider this informal chat at a luncheon meeting. Referring to the crisis while having a chat with the British Prime Minister Tony Blair, President Bush had this to say as a direct solution to defuse the crisis: "Get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this ****.' He added, 'I think Condi's going to go pretty soon.' In reply, Tony Blair offered himself to go 'if she needs the ground prepared.' Reportedly, this conversation went on when the microphone was not 'on'! Well, this simply shows the seriousness with which the issue was discussed at the G-8 meeting.

I don't think that is correct. I think westerners will be evacuated. Prior and afterword, Israel will continue to defend itself and reduce the influence and capability of terrorists, such as Hezbollah.

No. The plan is to get alien civilians out of harms way and then try to keep Hezbollah from destroying the entire nation of Israel.
