If I had the chance, I would tell him what an idiot I think he is with all sincerity and disgust. I would tell him that his war needs to stop for the sake of the ives that are being lost for his own benefit and for the benefit of the warlord companies (GE, Raytheon... etc.) that support him.
I would tell him he needs to step down as president for our nation has lost the respect of the world. Everybody hates the U.S especially now in recent years. We do not have to be the earth's police. Israel can be left alone, as it is obvious that Bush's foreign policy is not in the interest of Americans, but instead in the interest of rich shareholders and businessmen who have enough power to make Bush their puppet. Israel can fight their own war without U.S support. The U.S and the U.K have caused enough trouble already by carving out a country out of land that wasn't even theirs to begin with. . . now they continue to defend it by sending arms to the Israeli armed forces, which continue to relentlesly bash and bomb Palestine like there's no tomorrow.
Instead of dumping all this money into defense... feed the poor in our country, make a better social security program, improve education... feed the millions of starving children around the globe, fund research for cures to terminal diseases....
I would also inquire about the situation in New Orleans. Why is so much money being put in to the Iraqui nation and none whatsoever into a poor state in our own??? That is sooo wrong! Is it because New Orleans and Louisiana have no oil?
Then I might give him pointers on his speeches, cause he really needs to work on them. His speeches suck.
and one of the above answers brought up a nice point... "how does he sleep at night?"

(Bush wouldn't sit for two minutes talking about this, but...)
I would ask him how he finds it justifiable that he can so blatantly lie to the American people and present such hypocritical double standards. For example, Mr. Bush, you claim to be so religiously against abortion but at the same time you find it perfectly acceptable to kill thousands of Iraqi civilians in some faux war against terrorism being fought in Iraq. When you said you felt it important to fight "the enemy" on the enemy's soil, why did you lie about the Iraqi civilians being "the enemy?" Why did you lie to Americans about Osama Bin Laden being the same person as Saddham Hussien-- so that when you said "mission accomplished" when Saddham was ousted people thought somehow that the real threat (OSB) was gone? Why is it there was a seven or eight point mission objective (including bringing stability to Iraq and setting up a WORKING government) the only thing that suddenly meant "mission accomplished" was that Saddham was no longer in power? I know, Mr. President, that you were voted into power by many of the uneducated people of the red states, but did you really think so many Americans would be fooled by your lies?

Mr. President, thank you for your hard work in serving this country, but I wanted to bring up a few ideas that perhaps you and your advisors haven't considered yet:
1. The whole issue of homosexual marriage- make it legal. Every heterosexual couple who doesn't like it, well they don't have to go to the weddings personally, but send a nice card instead.
2. Oil. Whoa. Don't tanks, planes, and helicopters run on oil? Lets take some of that defense money and look into alternate fuels. That way you make the liberals and conservatives happy.
3. One strike and you're out policy: if you are convicted of taking money to fly off to the Bahamas on the government's dime, if you suddenly have a driver for no good reason, and if you happen to have just moved your parents into a 5 bedroom mansion out on Nantucket, you're fired. You aren't allowed to turn in your resignation, you're fired on the spot.
4. No more cable TV for prisoners. In fact, they start working 8 hours a day like the rest of us. The money they earn goes towards all of the hard working nurses and teachers out there who don't make enough.
5. Medicine. Allow people to buy it wherever they want, as long as the quality is as good in Canada as it is in the good ol' US of A.
6. Any time you capture one of these "men" who beat women - either here or abroad, the entire roster of the WNBA get to take him out back and beat the living heck out of him.
7. Oh, and give every government haliburton contract to a business that doesn't have ties to the VP.
Thank you very much for your time. Make the world better.

Well, I'd say a heck of a lot. I'd tell him that it's his duty to listen to the American people. He's serving them and when you have that many people in one country angry with the administration and the decisions he's made, it's not a moral choice to simply ignore and block the crowd out (which is what he does now). This is OUR country, not HIS.
The right thing to do is to sincerely investigate and address our concerns. Especially regarding the war. At the very very VERY least, there needs to be an written goal and an exit stategy.

Mr President, how much did the Israel pay your country to use your veto power every now and then in the Palestine issues? Do they pay through your personal accounts? Do they really scare you even when you are in Air Force One?
Are they really pushing you around to create another issues on Middle East to make the world focus on Palestine deteriorate?

I would tell him I admire him for how he has restored America as a strong country who will stand up for what is just. I would thank him for what he did on 9/11 when he comforted my sense of helplessness with words that gave me hope and a promise that everything that can be done will be done to make sure it never happens again.

We are both from Texas, so we could chit-chat about back home. What does one person think they can do to persude the President? Ever heard of the House and Senate, we elect them to represent us.

I'd ask him to fund education programs so people could learn to to spell and use proper grammar. Then I'd talk to him about the day when he was the front man from the Texas Rangers baseball team. But, he has enough stress without answering my wishes.

i to would need more then an hour to see if he really would talk to me about the war and how it can hurt us now and later on.
he saies he a GOD fearing man,but i don't belive it. i would ask if there was a way to help all new moms thats living alone to help her get the right start so she can find a way to help herself, and to try to get help for people that needs health care no matter what it cost,it seem we all pay more to live and be sick and no
good help is to be found,i would ask he to do better with the high cost of gas, and to try to lower food cost for people on ssi and other gov. things.
but thats just me.
