What is the best position to be in when giving yourself an enema. Are there any to definately avoid ?

Position depends on what you are looking to get out of this enema besides a good bowel movement.
If you are into a little bit of pain enjoyment, don't expel the air from the hose, lay on your RIGHT side with your knees drawn up and open the clamp as wide as it will go and let it flow fast and don't stop it unless you absolutely have to.
If you just want an wonderful full feeling and a good result, then I hang the bag up, get on my knees and put my shoulders on the floor which makes your butt the high point in your life at that moment. insert the tube and release the clamp and let the water flow in, pant like a puppy when you start to get a full feeling to help draw more water into you.
When you hear the bag gurgle, then close the clamp and hold the water for 5 to 10 minutes more. If you have an urge to let it out, start panting with real deep breaths and it will help them pass.
When you are ready, get on the toilet and let it all out. Enjoy the rush of that fast release and relief. Repeat as necessary, just remember that you need to put a couple of teaspoonfuls of salt to a 2 quart bag of water.

Or ask a friend to hold the enema mounted on a sharp spear, bend over and ask your friend to run at you from behind!!!!
This should shut you up.
And as you are clearly full of crap we won't have to answer more dumb questions!

Lay on your side,legs drawn up in a foetal position.
Be prepared to feel really awful,I had sweats and nearly passed out.If poss,have someone else in the house with you.!!!

You should probabaly be bent over on you knees with your butt sticking out. You shouldn't do it on the toilet because it might run out too fast once you inject the liquid in.

On the bus going to work, I find works for me.
Whatever you do, don't try doing it while having dinner with the inlaws.

You have to squat down to put it in, more comfortable that way. Trying to insert it standing up is uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it.
