Well football is quite obviously the most popular sport globally. Being Australian I have grown up with a multitude of different sports and I love and appreciate them all. It's about what you grow up with. We shouldn't judge people by the sports they choose to play or enjoy. It's just part of their countries culture. If Football was the only popular sport we wouldn't have the pleasure of the Olympics and the like. Got to admit though I have been a little bored with cricket of late. It seems to go through phases of domination from a handful of countries and those on top at present do not seem to be playing each other. I'm sure glad the WC came along when it did to break the monotony.

Both are popular among the old English Colonial countries. But, I believe more people enjoy football. It seems more popular as people find the game more interesting. The 5 day test match thing hard to follow.

if you're talking about real football.. then football for me.. cricket is a close second though... it also depends on the season and the teams that are playing..
but if youre talking about american football.. anything is better than that..even snail racing

umm 1 thing is that im livin in trinidad so u wud expect me to like cricet BUT I FLIPPIN HATE IT IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOO FLIPPIN BORING AND LONG but if u r american and yre talking about american football then im sorry i dont have and answer cuz that sport is alos boring as hell but if u r proper and ure talking about football that u use ure FEET with then that is much better and exciting i LOVE it
