Yesterday. To my husband's grandmother. I love writing letters and when she started writing to me after my marriage i started responding. We exchange letters once a month on average.

About half a year ago, but I never posted it, just wrote it for fun.

One that I really posted was about a year and a half ago, I was trying to get a penpal, the traditional way seemed interesting. But it's not very good for the environment, so I'm sticking to the internet.

Ha! I've written several this summer b/c I promised the students in my class that I'd write back if they wrote to me. As far as an actual truly personal letter--about 4 years. When I was in college, I wrote letters occasionally to my fiance back at home. :)

I hand-wrote a letter about a month and a half ago. And I'm still waiting for a response.

Last week I send a get well card to my uncle who is in the hospital for leukemia. I wrote a short note inside the card I picked for him.

There is still nothing like a hand written note to tell someone you are thinking about them. The internet is so fast and impersonal!

Just last week! To my friend in Reykjavik. It was the first letter I'd written for years!
