I don't think there is a certain amount of time you have to wait for. Once you got divorce you are free like a bird, you can get married the next day if you want.

what about waiting long enough to date, meet someone else, spend enough time to build a friendship based on trust, honesty and friendhip built over time? By THEN, if the ink is dry on the divorce papers you should be good to go. Rushing into marriage is a very good way to end up in divorce court and the next time may not be so easy!

What's the hurry for? If you just got out of one why would you want to jump into another one? As long as your divorced then you can get married again.
