My period has been going pretty heavy for about 2 months? Has anyone else had one last really long like this? If so, what did the problem turn out to be?

Go to the doctor! It depends so much on how old you are and what kind of health issues you have.
I had a period for almost a year! My doctor put me on estrogen replacement therapy and I bled for a month, stopped for 2-3 days, and bled again. I went back several times to have my meds adjusted and I still bled. I was anemic, and exhausted and cranky all the time. I thought I was going to have to get a hysterectomy to stop. I had hundreds of fibroid cysts, and the meds were supposed to be breaking them up. I was scheduled for a hysterectomy and I quit taking my meds. Then I quit having periods altogether, and haven't had one since--4 years ago. I didn't have a hysterectomy either. Changed doctors, too.

I have never heard of a woman having a period for 2 months ! Should only be for 4-7 days !
Mine are 7 days long.
You really should see a doc just to be sure !!

Go see a doctor right away. It may not be your period, you could just be profusely bleeding from your vaginal area. This could be caused by a more serious problem.

Mine is running a little long this month, but only by two days.

If you have had normal periods before this could be the sign of a serious problem. If they are always that long you probably need to take b.c. pills or something similar to help regulate your cycle.
