Frontier 1859 MMORPG is a new virtual world project kind of like "World of Warcraft meets Oregon Trail meets Monoply" that will be set in the American Great Basin wilderness during the silver rush of 1859. (www.frontier1859.com)

Your question is hypothetical so I have a lot of leeway on my answer, first because I wasn't there, second Indian land was taken and the past can't be changed,so, no I would not take Indian land. What you mentioned about the virtual world sounds interesting, sounds like some thing that a person can get into to see where they stand on issues if they were present in the past and if they were part of the decision making process. Got to mention this, I am not familiar with the virtual worlds or x-box or any thing along that line so I don't have first hand experience with it, but I did check out the site you mentioned and like I said it sounds interesting. Guess I have a lot of catching up on what is going on today, I've made due with books all my long life but I'd like to give this a starting point and the old west is right up my alley. Thanks also for helping me find my avatar, look familiar?

If you are talking about revisiting the past with the original cast, it would likely happen again. If you are thinking that modern people with enlightened ideas could do things differently, it would likely happen again. Human nature changes VERY slowly.

The game sounds interesting though.

Yes, defintiely. The land was taken by force or sold to the Whites. We deserve it just as much today as we did then. They couldn't defend themselves properly against the powerful White man.
Only the strongest survive.
If you think thats racist, get your head checked.

Not in a heartbeat. They knew how to manage it and use the resources without using them up. It was their land a lot longer than it's been the Europeans.

No, I would somehow try to learn to live together or live with them...since it was theirs first. Of course, that would never happen in a million years....that's just not the way government works....then or now!

THEY TOOK THE WHOLE, CHEROKEE NATION, LOCKED US ON THIS RESERVATION.
TOOK AWAY OUR NATIVE TOUNGE, AND TAUGHT THEIR ENGLISH TO OUR YOUNG.
TOOK AWAY OUR WAYS OF LIFE, THE TOMAHAWK AND THE BOW AND KNIFE.
ALL THE BEADS WE MADE BY HAND, ARE NOWADAYS MADE IN JAPAN.
THOUGH I WEAR A SHIRT AND TIE, I'M STILL PART REDMAN, DEEP INSIDE.
MAYBE SOMEDAY WHEN WE'VE LEARNED, CHEROKEE NATION WILL RETURN!
