Do they deserve it? HAHA what a question! My mom is considered a shopaholic in my eyes. But send her to a mall and she will find the best sales there. Show me a guy that will do that. And as long as she's spending her own money and not someone else's, and she can afford to do it, than ABSOLUTELY she deserves it.

Considering what they do at work, it's hard to tell. 7 hours a day for me and I got shopping 1 every two months. Even then I only spend under $50. I would like to shop more but it's not my need.

Answer: I think people with my hours should do it more and they do deserve to do it more.

Of course we shop more than we need to, and yes we deserve it. I work very hard for my money, no one deserves the benefit except me. I love shopping, I know that I shop way too much, but its so fun, and I definitely search the sale racks before looking at everything else...Plus, shopping is another way for females to bond, so we love it.

Women shop for clothing to show off their best features and dress to feel good about themselves. Some women shop for their husbands or boyfriends and family. Sometimes women shop more than they need to but shopping is fun. Everyone deserves to look good and feel good about themself.

we probably do shop more than we should.. but yes we do deserve it.

I stay at home with my family while the hubby works, and I am pretty much the only shopper in the house. I don't even allow my hubby to go grocery shopping with me.. he ends up side tracking me, getting junk food, and spending way too much money... He's not a good shopper, and he doesn't like to do it, so it's my job.

I don't shop for myself as much as I'd like to, but I enjoy shopping regardless of who it's for. It's like therapy.. I get upset, and I just have to go out and buy something.. makes me feel better...

but, again, we totally deserve it... just ask my husband

Absolutely.
Women shop to get an adrenalin rush, not because they need what they are buying. No different from people who eat to feel good or because they are bored, rather than because they are hungry.
Does a 300lb person 'deserve' the food they devour?
Wrong question. Does a drug addict 'deserve' his (her) drugs?
You tell me.
I trust you weren't expecting a friendly pat on the head with 'there there, this is all ok'. ;-)

women make up over 80% of purchases in a relationship.....ever wonder why many commercials target the female buyer???? besides they are better at finding great deals and saving money than us guys.
