ive been branded "goth","mosher","punk freak"and more
i sometimes find it insulting

Every one gets branded at school. Its how you handle it that helps you develop and mature. My way of annoying the people who do this sort of thing was to work harder, do better and ultimately achieve my goals despite them. Look whos laughing now! She who laughs last laughs longest! They're only jealous that you have a mind of your own.

I've had worse said about me, but you've got to remember that the name callers have low to middling intelligence, and only call people names to A) bolster their low esteem, B) they feel threatened by anyone who deviates from their very rigid view of how people should be, C) they are schemie/ned/chav/low class peasants even if they were brought up in a nice house.

yeah I've been branded, from baby school to the present day, in this order: stupid, fat, teacher's pet, freak, goth, loner, satanist(I go to a catholic school and am an atheist), rebel, emo, and once more, freak. I have no idea why, but I've given up caring.

When I was in school I was branded as the geek/loaner. People thought I was really smart and would ask me to do their homework for them, or copy me, and I wouldnt let them. The funnyt hing was, I didn't get straight A's or anything. I was just an average student.
When I was in elementary school, teachers knew me before I was in their class. First day of class, they would call my name and they would tell me they were going to keep an eye on me. (I use to kick teachers and bad mouth adn beat kids up when i was in elementary school)

everyone gets branded in school. its sad, but if you dress in all black, or look like a vampire, thats what ur going to get called. if u cant handle, change the way u dress, or just ignore them. also, you become who ur friends are. if they are punks, guess what ull be called. I found GOD, and I hang out with people who go to CHURCH. So, i dont really care what people call me now.
