Dear Uru,
The fundamentals of Martial Art has a deep connection with mind control and concentration.
And you have to be physically fit and mentally alert to do good in your studies.
With some time management you will see Studies & Martial Art are complementary to each other.
When ever you want to concentrate take slow deep breaths 2-3 times, you will see your mind will be left with very few thoughts, it may even become thoughtless. You will feel relaxed, then go to study.Observing Silence for 05 minutes will also help.
To memorise try to link answers to your real life experiences.
If possible try and discuss the answers within your Study Circle.

You really like Martial Arts. You probably remember everything you have to for Martial Arts. The mind does this for you naturally- things that you need to know to survive, or because you have a great interest in them, are processed with much higher efficiency than things that are trivial or boring.
Try sparring or practicing while someone quizzes you about whatever it is you are studying for. Then, even when you think about martial arts you will find it easier to remember what you studied. (Theres another little trick the mind does. If you learn something while listening to your favorite song, then think about the song when you need the information it is more likely to come to you. I guess you could classify it as association, although I am sure I have simply forgotten the real term for it)

Ask your tutor. They know you better than we do and I'm sure they'd have study helps that might work for you. Some people just have more trouble focusing than others. You sound like one of those people. Don't try to sit down and study for long periods. Study in "bites". When you feel you're not focusing anymore, take a break. Do some martial arts! Then come back to your studies and do a little more. Who cares how long it takes you, as long as you're giving it your best shot! Good luck.

I would have a parent contact the school social worker or psychologist to have testing done. This will help determine if you may need some extra help. If your mind wonders smaller group classes, or extra teachers in the room, may be better for you. I have had many students tested and they have all turned their academics around.
