The two teams will be West Virginia and Notre Dame.

First of all there is no dominant team out there that stands out this year; a lot of great football teams, but no super team like USC and Texas from a year ago. So I only really see one team going undefeated, maybe 2.

I really like the Mountaineers for one of the slots in BCS game; I know a lot of people are not picking them. But look at their schedule, they have a HUGE advantage. The Big East is a so-so conference. Their out of conference schedule is Marshall, Eastern Washington and Maryland all at home, East Carolina and Mississipi State on the road ....looks like 5-0 to me. They really should be ashamed of scheduling teams like that, but oh well, it is what it is. Their toughest game will be at Louisville on Nov 2 and at Pitt two weeks later (who's rebuilding by the way). I see them going 12-0. The only way that West Virginia doesn't make it to the title game if, 2 or more schools go undefeated, sorry don't see it. West Virginia return most everyone on both sides of the ball... So the Mountaineers should be booking reservations to Glendale, AZ for the BCS title clash.

Notre Dame will be the other team, however the schedule is a lot tougher to navigate than West Virginia. They open up against Georgia Tech in Atlanta, not a gimme (the Rambling Wreck beat Auburn last year, but they should win this game) One advantage that the Irish have is that they host Penn State and Michigan both at home, but in successive weeks (weeks 2 and 3); then the schedule gets a LOT EASIER from there with a road game at Michigan State and hosting Purdue, Stanford and UCLA (all 3 teams are rebuilding); then play at Navy. hosting No, Carolina, go to Air Force, and hosting Army. The final game at USC won't be easy one (this one could be for the BCS berth). Taking the Irish is a bit risky because of playing Michigan, Penn St and USC. I think Notre Dame will have one of the best offenses in the country, Quinn is a top notch QB, and if their defense gets better....look out!! Obviously if they win them all, they are on their way to Arizona as well.

I would have to wit the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (I regret to say) vs. the Florida Gators.

The Irish are a year under Charlie Weis's tenor and they have already improved mightly. Brady Quinn has lots of potential and is a favorite for the Heisman trophy. He can help to lead the team to the title game.

The Gators are a year under Urban Meyer's new offense that he brought to Florida. Although, at times last year it seemed as if Chris Leak struggled last year with it, I believe he will come back and have a very productive season. If he doesn't they can always give the number one quarterback prospect in the nation some reps (Tim Tebow). The Gators were number one when it came to recruiting for this season, so with that said I believe that some of those recruits will have an impact this year.

Winner of the Game: The Florida Gators (Knock On Wood)

Auburn vs. Ohio State.

Auburn has depth all around and, with the addition of Muschamp, arguably the best coaching staff in the country. A favorable schedule with the tough games at home means a good chance at an undefeated season. Quite frankly, if Auburn has an undefeated or one-loss season, the nations media will give them a shot at the BCS to make up for the first class screwing it got in 2004.

Ohio State is actually one of several possibilites. They seem to be the class of the Big Ten in terms of coaching and talent. Other possibilities include West Virginia, Miami, and Oklahoma.

Hey I am looking at the Florida Gators vs. the Penn State Nitney Lions and Im a Pitt and USC Fan!!!!!!!

Florida has a year under Urban Myer's belt and has a great QB in Chris Leak.

Penn State almost had an undefeated seaon in one of the hardest, if not the hardest, confrences in the nation AND they didn't loose anyone!!!!!

That along with Joe Pa will prevail the Lions over the Gators 42-31.

Notre Dame (I'll probably get lashed for saying that) vs. Ohio State (yeah, I'll get shot for that one, too) is the preseason guess. As of now, they have the most returning players from last year, so they are 'expected' to be as good or better. I could see a sleeper out of the SEC making it over Ohio State possibly...actually, I hope so. I'm a Michigan fan. But I had to be realistic.

Rematch of the Buckeyes and Failing Irish. Buckeyes will have an ace up their sleeve as AJ Hawk will be sackin Laura Quinn on the sidelines during the game this time, rendering Brady useless.

the winner of the SEC (which i think will be auburn with kenny irons, if not auburn then LSU) because it's the toughest conference just about every year and whatever team comes out of there will be battle tested, plus strength of schedule
.... and i like notre dame but if they lose to michigan, PSU or USC then it will open the door for an ohio state or west virginia

but no USC, no texas.. too many holes to fill but they will both be contenders in 07-08
