I'm a senior at ASU with a 3.8 GPA, I want to go to grad school for education. What benefit does a masters degree provide me as a non-education undergrad major?

Would initial salary be higher?

I also want to go into coaching or athletic administration, would this help?

My B.S. is in recreation.

The M.A. will do two things for you.

It will qualify you to teach at high schools and community colleges, should you ever choose to do this.

It will also provide you with a better understanding of your field or specialty; after all, that is the purpose of education.

You get a higher salary...
After bachelor's your salary might be around 30-40,000 but if you do masters, your salary should go up to 60000+...
Good luck...
