Well think about it...Superman died once. Not by the bane of kryptonite but from a serious beating he received from the monster doomsday. At a certian point within a black hole, you reach an area where you are the vicitm of what scientists call infinite force. I don't beleive Doomsday was capable of infinite force, so if he could kill Superman, a black hole would easily crush him. I do wonder, however, what a psychic entity would experience within a black hole.

Today's Superman of Comic books? He would be crushed to death. Prior to the ruination of the DC universe in 1985, he simple would have flown out of the Black Hole, if he so chose. He was faster than light, could move planets from their orbits, so, a black hole would have meant only a minor challenge to him.

superman's only weakness is not kryptonite, he is also vulnerable to magic, and if there was enough physical damage he could die from that too. a black hole would tear him to bits
