I'm blonde, tan, and blue-eyed. I usually wear shimmery brown eye make-up to work and when I go out. I want to try something different! I have a fair complexion but I've got a nice tan from the summer. I don't know what kinda colors would look good. Any suggestions?

Yo ED,

I don't care what them folks at Almay say, you don't wanna use blue shadow when you've got blue eyes. I'm pretty much a junkie when it comes to make up (duh). Hit me up if you want to arrange a free make over ;-)

Haha oh man dude.

Alright, try Almay's "play up the blue" you can get it at walmart for like 6 bucks. and it does wonders. I have hazel eyes, and I get the play up the hazel.. and it really does bring out my eyes. There are 3 differnt colors it comes with, and it tells you where to apply which color. Have you ever tried blue eyeliner? Take a look at my eyes in this picture below. The blue is pretty nice, especially if you have blue eyes.

Eyes – Deep matte earth tones like green, dark grey, beige and brown will make you look gorgeous.
Cheeks – Coral and plum are great and bronzing powder gently dusted over your cheeks, forehead and nose will give you a gorgeous sun-kissed glow.
Lashes – Brown/black or black is best.
Lips – Your skin tone is very versatile and if you’re a brunette you’ll look great in loads of shades of lippie from pink to red. Don’t dare scrimp on the lip gloss for a perfect pout.

You could go with dark and light blues to enhance your eye color. Or, if you want to go with naturals, then go with a translucent color or pink or other color to match your outfit. You should try different things, even if you don't think that they would go with your skin, because that's how you find colors that work.

Good luck.
