Ugly is own reflection when we look at someone else. When our hearts are dim we see ugliness. The ugliness is in the eye of the beholder.

depends on a person's perceptions. Perceptions, whether real or not (who can say), are truly real to the person perceiving something.
Perceptions are determined from environment such as where they lived, or from their peers and other peoples views, or from their parents' views, or from things they heard or saw.
Sweet is the taste buds giving a pleasurable experience. Taste buds tell if something is sweet, sour, hot or cold. Has to do with the nervous system.
Good is a word used to describe something that's beneficial, helpful, praiseworthy, etc.
Ugly is a word used that is unpleasant, distasteful, not agreeing with morals (everyone has morals but there are different kinds or morals and different levels of morals depending on how each person sees them).
So it all comes down to perception. I have a page of perception information on my website, contact me to see it. But I'm sure if you look up perception on the internet, also look up different words in the dictionary and in rogets thesaurus (in the merriam-webster online dictionary for instance) you can see the levels of words and how they are used.
