Yup, as long as we are all still US citizens, we are still one population of US citizens.

We are many, we are one. The differences are profound yet we all can enjoy the Sun on our backs. The wealthy bleed just as the poor. The woman in a poor country grieves her lose just as a woman in a wealthy country would. There is only a difference in location and money, all are the same. The restrictions are man made, perhaps it is those that seek to maintain control that set the divides we all find hard to overcome; yet in my life I've seen these walls come down in many places. It could be considered progress I think.

i do no longer imagine that is as a lot as a democratic authorities to "redistribute" income like some style of "percentage the wealth" card in Monopoly or communism. the authorities might want to notwithstanding do what it ought to to make existence a lot less complicated on the undesirable and deprived with extra proper funded and extra social courses, to boot as tax alleviation for the decrease and middle instructions. Likewise the authorities also needs to close tax loopholes that income the prosperous and great businesses. it may also position extra controls on great businesses, rather in the adventure that they are receiving bailout money. All issues Democratic President Barack Obama is fervently operating in the direction of and the previous and all Republican administrations completely omit those factors. the only component that trickles down is excrement, discomfort and suffering as we are all nicely conscious from both ReaGuns for Hostages' administration and both Bush Debacles!

Holymike,
There are two answers to your question. In the material sense, we are obviously not, as you have so well pointed out. This seems to be true, because we see it, but it is not the Truth. In order to understand the Truth of things, we must possess the Spirit of Truth. When we have become One with God, by bonding with His Spirit, we can then receive the Spirit of Truth. Then, it becomes plain to us, that we are one race, one people, one family, with One Father. Then our values change, and we can no longer accept the suffering of our brothers and sisters, while we live in materialistic luxury. Obviously, few have discovered or taken this Path. Please do not confuse this bonding with the Spirit of God, for the religions of men. They are very different things.

So long as Health Care is limited by the financial resources of the sick, and educational opportunities are similarly limited, we will never be one.

I heard in the news that the US gov't is actually charging people to be evacuated from Lebanon. Is that just sick, or what?

there is a saying,"as you believe". it means if you believe it, it is so for you. being able to see everyone in the same light is possible...tough, but still possible.

here's a game that is fun and 'border-free'.

place yourself in a high traffic people area.
be comfortable, stationary and in no hurry
it is your job to give pleasant eye contact and to receive a pleasant reaction
try not to take notice of gender, race, age...ect.
watch for a 'twinkling eye' recognition
make note of who is trying to see the 'sparkle' in you first
who is afraid to look? how many see, become shy, and look again?
how many never are looking?
how many serious, sour or frightened eyes can you make sparkle? (that is the real goal of the game)

i have tried this many times in malls and parking lots.
i was surprised at the consistency of of reactions within age groups! these are some of the reactions i found...give or take a few
children toddler to 6-7ish...happy to see you! loving the happy attention all sparkles!

8-12ish...all about what's in the materialistic windows, occational seeing, but pretty brief recognition

teens to about 13-19 or so...kind'a surprised that you, a stranger, are looking at them with non-judgemental happiness in your eyes...not to sure...but the sparkle is easily returned

early twenties to 30's...not really looking for eye contact...mostly looking at peoples physical appearances, or their own appearance ...when you do get a sparkle it seems to be more flirtatious and self-centered

mid-thirties to 40 something...so off in the stress's of their lives, they don't seem to trust the sparkle, it really can catch them off guard, but will give an attempt to give and recieve one

50 to elderly...they are most definately looking to give the sparkle away! can't wait to see you looking! i have seen many laugh out loud at the barrier-free gift of pleasant eye contact

it is such a good feeling when you are able to overlook all the 'conditioned' barriers culture has trained us to be aware of and truly see people as one, all looking to give and recieve the same sparkle.

i believe we are all the same...all looking for the same acceptence, all looking to love and to be loved
peace to you
