The oldies are really the best ones but here are some fantastic newer ones to see.....
1 CREEP - you need to be strong minded to see this one
2 Dawn of the Dead - The remake is just fantastic
3 Wrong Turn - the american version is brilliant
4 28 days later - scary thought
5 Dog Soldiers - would you wanna get lost in the woods?

Get yourself a copy of Oxide and Pang's "The Eye" It's a Hong Kong horror film from 2002, but it has English subtitles so don't be put off.
Trust me, I'm a horror fan too and I've seen soo many, but this film takes the biscuit - the Asians really know how to make a decent horror film!!
I won't watch it alone...!

"Phantasm" isn't incredibly scary, but you WILL leave it thinking that you've watched a very well-done horror. "Skeleton Key" was kind of disturbing, as was "The Hills Have Eyes." If you are a sick, sick person who likes tons of gore, try "Bloodsucking Freaks" or "Terror Firmer."
Horror movies are kind of like drugs: the stronger doses (scarier movies) you take, the harder it will be for the next one to be scary. There might come a point where you'll have to settle for "good" rather than "scary."

The Exorcist and The Omen. Oldies but goodies.
Hostel was okay but it's almost pornographic.
