Don't you think that discussing it and realizing that we need to take steps as humanity to find ways to try and aliviate these things before they happen, is better than ignoring there existance. Yes, it is depressing, but this is reality none the less. Maybe however if people speak of there feelings and thoughts on religon and politics others can find it within them selves to be more tollerant. Although I really do not think this will happen, isn't worth the worth the attempt? People need to learn that everyones idea of what makes the world go round is different, but no worse or better than there own. The only way this could happen is by talking about it.

if no one asked those questions, this would just be yahoo answers fluffy questions..do like most..if you don't like the content, move on to the next question..find a catagory that doesn't involve those topics.for this forum to be appealing to all who come here, there does have to be some kind of diversity..as far as all the politics, the religions, all those arguments have been going on ever since the begining..if no one has found a way to stop them,i kind of doubt it'll stop here..news,facts,all that can be depressing,no doubt about that..but there's still joy,laughter,happiness..it may be hard to find in the news or here sometimes, but it's there...

The questions that make me sick are the ones designed to incite hatred against a particular religious group or against people of a certain ethnic background. The losers who pose those questions don't believe in "live and let live", "different strokes for different folks". People should not have to put down other beliefs to be confident in their own. It's a pity that the internet is fertile farmland for the seeds of hatred that these creeps are planting.

I used to feel like this about some things, I put off reading about homelessness, environmental problems and the third world because it frightened me.
Now I think we should all know about this stuff. If we stop talking about it then the people in power won't see these issues as things they need to address and they will never be sorted out.
If you don't feel you can face them at the moment, then perhaps you shouldn't read the questions in this section.

I'm not sick of any of those questions. These are the big issues that we have to resolve. Let the debate continue! God bless the people who come on here to argue about religion or politics instead of asking, "OMG how do i know if this guy likes me?"

Religion and Politics are offered as categories.
If you don't like it, stay out of these categories, stay out of the open questions room and go to the categories that you are interested in.
Not everyone is interested in the same things.

There are lots of other catagories to choose from. If you don't like the questions, go talk about cats or movies.
