when it comes to cell phones why is it people are more concerned with taking a call while driving dialing a number than being focused on there driving cell phones have voice mail why don't people like using the voice mail i've seen alot of accidents where i live as someone was more preoccupied with there cell than there driving i'm just trying to understand the situation here

my guess is most people don't read the manuals and are too lazy or stupid to figure it out. but mostly lazy and don't read. 95% of the time and I use to work as costumer support so I see tons of that happening first thing we say is have you read the manual and they always lie but we know once we ask them a few questions.

some people try to be cool by dialing or talking on the cell because not everybody doesn't have a cell phone. i see it all the time and they don't care about the other drivers because they feel they are doing nothing wrong until they are involved in a car accident and especially if they are the cause

A man in Minneapolis exiting a fast food drive thru while talking on his cell phone ran into a woman holding a child. Killed her. The child was not injured. Put the frigging cell phone down!

well see some people don't just only use them to talk to friends. Some people like myself use a cell phone for my job i have to use it to contact the distributors or even in an emergency that you don't know about. all you see is a person on the phone and that's all just remember that if you have an emergency you cant use your phone in the car. and as far as voice mail people use it during meeting and other functions. as far as driveing i know people that have gotten into a crash just for a smoke.

If you live anywhere in california, then you know that people here don't give a rat's *** about you or me, all they care about is themselves and they figure if they want to use their cell phones while driving, then YOU need to be more aware of them!!! You need to drive more defensively than you should have to because THEY are more important than you are!!!!!

I completly agree with you safely operating the vehicle is way more important than any phone call if you need to make an urgent call simply pull over to a SAFE area

Its a natural human tendancy to do things that you are denied to do and which r harmful. Talking on cellphone while driving is one such thing.
Talking on cellphone while driving is "in" and people do it for show off.. how much ever awarness may you try to spread, its not gonna help.

I see the same problem. people are crazy. I dont answer my phone while driving. Its a leash, I like to be lost for a while anyway.

I will let mine go to voice mail or put it on driving mode so I dont get distracted

It is human nature, it appears to be easy so it is easy. Plus we are having people multi-task now more than ever. It is or would seem to be logical too use your travel time for social or money making purposes.
