The enery efficiency of insects never ceases to amaze me. It seems like a housefly can fly around forever on nothing more than chemical energy. Is is possible for us to engineer something artificial that can achieve the same level of efficiency?

Why do the dust motes in a sunbeam always seem to float up? Isn't dust heavier than air?

Why do most humans seem to prefer living in clumps?

Will we ever meet intelligent creatures from elsewhere?

Why do ducks quack? Why don't they bark?

What causes us to wonder?

Yes, the amount of things I can do not paying attention, distracted, they increase in may case with age, like driving, reading, and now I can copy text from the Desktop screen to my PDA no knowing I am doing it, in a wondering state.
