Question

I wanna appreciate & thank all those friends who answered my qustion which i put wrongly.
"How can earth's shadow coveres almost (exact) the whole sun, making a very thin ring during a solar eclips."
I wanna add that i like most the answer of some one named "nuff said".
He got my point exactly.
I accidently placed this question for voting..but i wanted to slect his answer as best ..Thanx a lot .. "nuff said". I wish u to contact me if u read this ...
Actully the purpose of asking question was not to see how jenious answerer is (as some ppl tried to show). I m not much into astronomy. i m a computer student. I m interested in talking about strange thing happning in this universe and trying to share views.

While you made your point You have to see the other side. Some questions are best answered by articles that is vastly available in the net. So all you do is google search and read few articles. If certain thing you don't understand you ask. This is forum is not to bypass that effort. While learning if you have some difficulty we can clear it. But posting home works and whatever is on you mind without putting any effort is also a turn of to the readers. Then you get nasty answers

Infact you got very good well explained answers for that question. It doesnt make sense to complain about them. Dont expect everyone is going to treat you nicely.
