Not really. You should be able to stand behind your responses, whether on-line or in person. It's called having the courage of your convictions or Don't let your mouth write a check your a**can't cover.

I think the anonymity is part of it. That provides freedom not only in what you might say, but in having to deal with people who you might find annoying later because of the conversation or comment. I hope that is clear to understand. I also think just having the available audience, it's not often when I have time to talk that a friend or an associate has plenty of time as well. Also, there are so many different personalities, the responses range from so hilarious, to helpful, to sensitive and so on, it makes this forum almost addictive for me.

While that might be true for some, I am who I am, and will give honest advice, even if some know who I am! I guess that's what makes our answers believable, because there's some level of accountability. For example - with total anonimity, would you be more likely to trust the person who's profile suggests that they've asked 5 sex related questions, and provided silly answers, OR, the person with 8000 points who has asked a wider variety of questions?
I am me, and I have accepted that, and will always answer as truthfully as I can.

It makes no difference to me. I'd answer any of these questions the exact same way as I would if everyone knew who I was personally. I have no qualms about saying something that people may not want to hear or in a way they don't like. I certainly don't go around on here acting like someone I'm not.

It can be easier to be more truthful. Unfortunately, too many people see the anonymity as a way to be rude and nasty.

methinks iam becoming less anonymouse and in doing so i reckon my comments are more restrained
what troubles me is all the answers and how they represent me i would like to be able to go through and cancel some of them and retain my points
kinda like a philosophical journal of rambling thought and as the days pass by...i change
yes it is easier if i am anonymouse to answer questions as to how i truly feel

That's a big yep. Except for a lot of the religious nutters who seem to get off spouting their lunacies in real life.
