Well that depends on what genre of games you like really. But its still to soon to make any positive suggestions since the Xbox360 has very little games on it right now (even fewer that are actually GOOD) and the Playstation 3 isn't even out yet lol!!!

But trust your instincts, I'm sure you've decided in your subcoinscious which you really want.

But if not, you can always try the ULTIMATE DECIDER. A coin toss. Seriously. Toss a coin. One side Xbox360, the other Playstation 3. Whatever side it lands on you will go for the one you want. Why? Because if it lands on the one you want you will think "Ok I'll go with that one" and if it lands on the one you secretly didnt want you will think "Hmm no, I'll pick the other one".

It never fails!!

(PS: After what you said, going by the genres the current consoles have, your best choice would be the PS3 because, if like its predicessor, its best for sports games and excels in the RPGs (fantasy games). The XBox360 is more for the first person shooters)

your done with them? why? how can you be ticked off at them for a console they haven't even released yet? you buy what you feel you have to. if your going to betray nintendo because you are skeptical about the wii's potential then quite frankly you are nuts. go ahead and buy a system that costs you either $400 or $600 for the good version. the wii comes in one version only. if it's the remote then that is also a silly reason to be done with them. if you hate the remote that you haven't even tried out yet, there is still ports for the old gamecube controllers. i suggest you rethink your position. microsoft and sony are going to cost you an arm and a leg.

Xbox360 has better games, but the PS3 has a blue ray DVD player, which would usually cost $1000, but the PS3 only costs $600.

PS3 is the truth.. I must say that xbox has stepped their game up cause they bought grand theft auto so now grand theft will come out on xbox first not PS3.
PS still has final fantasy behind them..
I love PS because of their wide variety of games...

The 360 is great but the ps3 might be even better. I have allways been a playstation fan but one thing that turned me away from the ps3 is that it is going to like 700 dollers to but it which is outrageous.

Wii is (by far) the best, second is PS3 (mainly because of the new sequals to games like: Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid), third is the (I hate it) Xbox360. P.S. - PLEASE give the Wii another chance, it's going to rock!!!

it all depends what genre of games ya wanna go with. i find that xbox has the absolute most of fps games. and sony has the largest libraray for rpgs. and of course you got wii and these guys are good at the cutsey games. so it is more of not what machine is the best. but more what genre your into.

PS3 definitely! Because you have games all the way back from PS1 (cheap) and the movie quality is DVD quality. I had PS1 and now have PS2. My whole family (kids and hubby) just loves it!
