The Republican party in power wants to put forth a plan which will enable them to curtail the illegal activities of those who are determined to destroy our society, as the nation is beset by an epidemic of unpresidented terrorism?
Sound familiar.
It's not.
This was the point of the Huston Plan, cooked up by Tom Charles Huston, an aide to President Nixon in 1970, to foil the anti-war movement and worked on by J. Edgar Hoover and Attorney General John Mitchell.

Yeah, I knew that. Did you know that in 1962 JFK used tax cuts to lessen the deficit? At what point after 1962 did the Dem's become socialist and drift away from from the JFK era supply side capitalist?

Did you know the very same President said "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." The only thing that liberals seem to be able to do for their country is *****, gripe, whine, moan and complain about everything that's wrong. At least conservatives try to do something to solve the problems instead of grating on everybody's ears with a tired old mantra that does NOTHING to solve the problems.

JFK was also in favor of tax-cuts and using military force (Cuban Missile Crisis).
Unfortunately, that was 40 years ago, and the modern Democrats are nothing like him.
