Well after really good sex I'm pretty pooped out and my mind is pretty much blank as oppose to reading a good book I will think about it for years to come and probably when I finish it I will go back to the passages that I liked and read it again and again .
I guess I couldn't live without the both of them - but what I would really like best is if my spouse read the book too and then we talked about it after the great sex

Not even close. . . I've done both. . .fortunately much more of the making love and nothing compares to the making love. . .definately not reading a book. My weiner feels a lot better after making love than it does after reading a book. The only possible comparison might have been during my college years. This gal I was dating (purely physical) was reading the Kama Sutra and she would come over everyday after class and try a new move or technique on me. Who says being a lab rat is a bad thing! WOWIE. . . ZOINKS! Now that was a good book! BOOYEAH~!!!!

I find most sex w/ other people to be completely unsatisfying so I wouldn't compare it to a book.
Now reading a good book is a lot like eating a good meal. I remember it for a long time and if it's especially exciting, I'll smoke a cigarette and laugh for a long time.

What nonsense.
You may have a great deal of satisfaction from reading a book, but the aftermath is NOTHING like sex. Sorry.
You'll find out one day (although whether you've never had sex or never read a book is not made clear by the question).

I think this would have a lot to do with how one both reads and makes love. If you make love only with the thought of getting to the end, then one ought to reexamine the process. If, on the other hand, one enjoys the process of reading, then it would be a good parallel application to one's lovemaking skills. This, of course, assumes that one is relating to the author in reading and one's partner, in lovemaking. Both successful lovemaking and reading require a good interrelationship. In neither case, however, would I recommend smoking afterwards.

A book can be very nice, yes.
But it's no comparison to sex with the person you love.
I think a person who claims that a book can be like good sex has never had really wonderful sex at all.
And it's so different you can't compare it.

I don’t think so.
I have never wanted to read a book 2 or more times in the same night.

I wouldn't know. I haven't met a good book lately. Nowadays everything is such a sell-out!

I think it's a better sensation than having sex. You forget about sex but the book stays with you.
