As an amateur herpetologist, I resent the bad press the snakes are going to get from this.

I heard that the movie started out as a serious movie. Apparently, some people got a hold of a few clips of the movie and thought it was ridiculously stupid so they created their own parodies of the movie. The director of Snakes on Planes got wind of the parodies and decided that their versions were better than his whole movie so he re-made it as a funny movie.

It jogs my memory of yet another action picture.... like Jaws......a shark in waters that they are no longer recent in (like snakes got here upon aboard a frickin' airplane).....They spent plenty on merchandising (precisely like Jaws different than in the present day they initiate hyping in the previous production) and thanks to hype it is being made via followers of a action picture they have not even seen it yet; so as that they upload greater to it to grant it a R score.....(it became into initially pg-13: what large horror action pictures are ever rated pg-13 at first).... they're based Solly on Samuel L. Jackson's appearing........ Gee whiz kiddies no count number how solid his appearing is it does not stop the certainty the thought of the action picture is crap..... smell that? Oh yeah that became right into a solid classic of Hollywood Bull$#@%..........

No, Elephants on a Plane and even Cats on a Plane would have been a better subject.

I highly doubt it. No matter how good the film is the academy isn't going to take it seriously. They go in for art films or films with a message.

I don't know, but my mom's afraid of snakes *and* planes, and mentioning it to her has yielded some high-quality entertainment for me and my brother. :-)

It looks very funny. Although at first I wasn't sure if it was a joke or not!
