my best job ever, being a paramedic, we get to save lives and make people feel better. my worst job...being a paramedic, we have to try to save people who are going to die no matter what, or we find them already dead, and have to tell the family that they are dead and we can not bring them back.

The best was a short stint working for the DEA out of Tingley's Marina in Merritt Island , Fl working an off-shore chase boat in 1985. It was an adrenalin rush from the start to the end of every tour. I'll never forget it.
The worst was a job as a night security guard in 1986 (I was bored at night so I took a second job) at Southern Bell in Merritt Island, FL. I thought it would be a walk in the park. Turns out the facility was in a REALLY tough neighborhood and we were literally just about under attack every night by neighborhood *******. Rock throwing, torching anything that would absorb gas, getting shot at on occasion. I lasted about 2 weeks and then figured for the 8.50 an hour it wasn't really a good way to fill my nights out. In retrospect..it wasn't all that bad. It was more depressing than anything.

I have had a lot of great jobs. One of the best was when I was the manager of a photo lab. I loved looking at peoples pictures (not in a creepy way). I have had a few bad jobs too. One was when I was working for a thrift store. I had to go through what people dropped off for donations. Some things had mold, vomit, poo, etc on them. It was disgusting. Some people only donated trash! Another bad job I had was working at a laundrymat. I had to vaccuum the dryers out daily. That meant I had to get on the floor and dig around in lint. The good side to that was that if I found anything, I could keep it. I found a bracelet (14k gold), a Walmart gift card ($15), and of course cash- dollars and change.

The best job I've had is the one I have right now. I love it! I get paid (very very well, might I add) to sit and do nothing! I'll probably be playing online all day answering questions, or playing games.
The worst job I've had was being a receptionist at a hair salon. The hairstylists were a joke and basically a bunch of white trash and the people who came in weren't any better. My boss was a *********. and didn't like me and ended up firing me after 2 months just because i didn't act like her and the rest of the hairstylists. I can honestly say that when she fired me, I was relieved. lol....

The best job I ever had was when I was 16 years old. I worked at Buger King(BK). In my town, it was a really cool place to work. All the HS kids hung out and smoked in the parking lot. We got to know all the cops in our town, so we didn't get any tickets. It was great!! I worked there for 3 years, ate there 5 days a week and didn't gain any weight!!!! It was the best!!!
The worst job I ever had was working at Blimpie's. I only worked there 2 days a week and the business was not good, so the owner fired me saying i couldn't bake bread and I called him out on his BS. Shortly after my dismissmal he had someone buy him ouy of teh blimpie business.
Now a college grad, I work for teh American Cancer Society. It will never beat BK, but I love my job.

Best job hands down: Being a college student, someone pays me to party for three/four days out of the week
Worst job: Being an intern who just photo copies all day long.

My best job is designing websites, though doing it for a town newspaper doesn't allow much creativity,
