Yes, but it's a pretty wide ranging cross cultural and worldwide subject my friend. Ask something a bit more specific and I'll try to help.

Folklore is my life's work. No matter what I'm doing, it always comes back to folklore. Why?

I know mainly about Caribbean folklore: Douens, Soucouyants (Trinidadian version of the vampire), Le Loupgarou (werewolf), La Diablese (the devil woman), Papa Bois (guardian of the forest).....I can go on and on.

Some. Here's a story my father told me. One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. ONE IS EVIL. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. THE OTHER IS GOOD. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson thought about it for a minute then asked "Which one wins" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
