i heard once that arabs agree on not to agree ???
why they cant be united ,even for once?

The main reason is that there are major splits in the Arab community in relation to their origin and beliefs.

In the Middle East you have Kurds, Sunnis, Shia, Christians, Jews, and more!

Also, there are tribal, and other historical/ancestral splits.

Truth be told, 80% of the Muslims in the Middle East hate the US and Israel. However, 70% of the governments have good relations with the US. This causes alot of problems.

Bush wanted to encourage democracy in the Middle East, until he found out that with free elections, hard line Islamic Muslim Theocrats would win. These theocrats hate the US and Israel.

I think the ramifications of these issues are obvious from the 2000 years of war in the region.

If you mean in the Middle-East, then no-one, Arab or Israeli agrees on anything. Difficult to when they're all so paranoid!

They do agree in many issues, the problem is that we occidental-Jew-Christian do not understand the way they think
