If he legally got married then he is married. If she is just living there then he is not.

Why not call a lawyer. Usually they will have someone who will answer a few questions. Sounds like you may just have power of attorney papers for money issues only. Without knowing your situation nobody can really help you completely.

Get a lawyer. These papers can be thrown out of court. Make sure they are solid. If this woman is seen as his common law wife then she just might be entitled to some money.

He's basically giving the people he trusts most in his life power of attorney. This person typically has to be related to you through blood or marriage. Since you are his next of kin (I'm assuming), it's only right for you to have power of attorney over him. Check with a lawyer about the rules for transferring that power.

Who actually drew up these papers? If it was an attorney you can check with them. I believe that unless he signs over authority to this women, that the previous signed papers are still in affect.

Seek professional legal assistance...he has given up certain rights as head of household...I doubt if any effort to take control of anything are legally binding.

your father is a clever guy, I did that for you well in advance before he married so that you would not have any problems in future and this is the future. Dont worry about her your being his rep is her no go area unless he changes it himself.

if shes making good decisions then let her run it.

if he signed everything over to you then she cant really do anything. as far as the courts see it, you still have power over everything.

if u signed over consent for him to be married then hes married, if u didnt then the marriage is nulled and voided.
