He's really good at comedy, I don't know if I can see him as a serious actor though.....

Such a question is very subjective, but lets try and quantify an answer anyway...
1.) Does Owen have stage presence, is he charismatic? I think so yes, I find him very likable.
2.) Does Owen Wilson have a wide range? Tricky one to answer, I've seen Owen in many different Genres - Action, dumb comedy, Adventure, thriller, Rom Com - but he always seems to play exactly the same mild mannered slightly odd misfit.
3.) Can Owen Wilson Play Strong Emotions? I've never seen any evidence of it. Even in that movie where he played a psycho he was still a mild mannered bumbler.
To sum up, although he is easy enough to watch he has very little depth. Unlike comedy actors such as Tom Hanks, I doubt Wilson will ever progress into more "serious" acting as he can not "emote"

I think he is an ok actor...like in Wedding Crashers he really played his character well because in some aspects I think he might've been able to relate to that guy and that really helped him open up more on screen and perform better...he's a hilarious guy so being funny is natural for him and if he is acting like a funny guy he will do much better...now You. Me, and Dupree wasn't one of his best films...my opinion...I didn't find him to be very into his character and I didn't like him that much...but on the other hand their is Starsky and Hutch and i think he did great in that movie...he played the character very well and you can tell he enjoyed it and that shows on screen when you at home are watching it...but as far as looks...no he is not a very attractive man...but I'm not gonna judge his acting career on it...I was just tellin my fiancee' the other day though that I'm glad he is not one of those people who like run off and get plastic surgery because they can't stand lookin at themselves in the mirror every morning...but whatever...that's my Owen Wilson opinion...

Not at all. I've never seen him in a role that I thought he could pull off and all of his characters seem pretty much the same.

No, he is always the same, acts the same way, talks the same way, is the same character with different names. He is not funny anymore. Only the first time you see him, makes you laugh, after that is the same o' same o'

He's pretty good, but why wouldn't he spend some of his $ on a nose job. It is absolutely hiteous

I think so. he was in the movie where he was stuck in the middle of some european country cause his plane crashed. forget the name but his serious side came out.

he acts the same in all his roles. but he is still good. how odd. but i like him. i gave my son his name owen.
