If you use IE
Left click on Tools on the menu bar
Left click on Internet Options
Left click on Delete Cookies
Left click on Delete Files
Left click on Clear History
If you use Firefox
Left click on Tools on the menu bar
Left click on Options
Left click on the Privacy icon (You will see several tabs)
In the History tab left click on Clear Browsing History Now
In the Cache tab left click on Clear Cache Now
Check each tab a decide if you want/need to Clear
If you use Opera
Left click on Tools on the menu bar
Left click on Preferences
Left click on the Advanced tab
Left click on History then left click on Empty now to clear
cashe. You may also want to left click on Clear to remove
site URL's you have visited
Left click on Cookies and make sure the box in front of
Delete new cookies when exiting Opera is checked
These are just the basics. Don't be afraid to try things. Remember you can always reinstall.

If you use Mozzilla Firefox browser: click Tools menu > Clear private data.
If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer: click Tools menu > Internet Options,... and click clear history.....you can also set how many days to keep the history data.

well if you just delete it from the "history" somebody else still could find where u have been on the internet. Best thing is go to TOOLS in the IE, under OPTIONS do the following
1. CLEAR HISTORY
2. DELETE COOKIES
3. DELETE FILES

In internet explorer go to tool menu then select internet options under general tab you can find some buttons use them to clear data
In firefox go to tools then click on clear private data

1.go to Internet explorer.goto tools->options->clear history
2.in options goto settings and then view files and delete all of them!
And for future get a software called cleanup!in one click it erases everything

I usually just click the history icon on my tool bar, and right click when the history for each day comes up, and delete it. Doesn't that delete it? Or is it stored somewhere else????

ahem...anyways...it's pretty much the way need_money said + go to start>All Programs>and make sure you delete any undesired files in my recent documents if you saved anything of the Net...
