Will Americans Take up arms against the Government?

Question

I saw a little blip on TV a while back.. just a poll really
but it said the majority of Americans Believe at some unknown point in the future Americans will have an armed conflict with the government.
Oh sure I hear a lot of talk about it but I don't know of any group or real reason for folks to do this.
so my question is simply do you think people will take up arms at some unknown point?
and if so what would need to happen to trigger it?

The only possibility of Americans taking up arms against its Government is if there is a right-wing coup.

This is a distinct possibility if a Democrat wins the next Presidency.
Can you really imagine that after 8 years of having carte blanche with their twisted fascistic agenda, that the Neo-Cons would relinquish power easily.

Using national security and the "war against terrorism" as justification, they could declare martial law. And, the stooges they installed in the Supreme Court would quite conceivably sanction such action.

Do you remember that big hole blown into the FBI bldg in OK City? Do you remember how the media and Feds manipulated the situation? My answer is , NO. The government has bribed the people into a comfortable captivity.

It's a definite possibility. I can't project times but there are classes out there about revolution. What it takes to start one, what it takes to finish, and what it takes to actually make a difference. It might be different from what you think.

It would be great if they did,we are loosing more of our freedoms everyday,but like one person already stated,most americans are too lazy,too yellow,too brainwashed into "patriotism",too ged and drunked up to do anything,and is more important to an american than their rights are,so americans deserve what will be coming to them.
