Of course!! They wouldn't want to have to give their babies milk from another species, and nursing *isn't* abusing or exploitation of another species. They also tend to value healthy diets more than the average omnivore. So they would be *more* likely than the general population to nurse.

I'm sure some of them do. My concern would be the nutritiousness of the mother's milk. It's quite easy to develop a protein deficiency if you're vegetarian or vegan, and most who I know also eat low-fat as well as no meat or dairy. This is unhealthy for the baby.

Okay - so it is milk but it is natural, human milk made for the baby - not formula that is made from a cow. Formula would definitely go against a vegan's diet. Also, the mom would know what exactly she is eating to produce that breastmilk. Does anyone know what a cow eats? They don't feed them just grass anymore.

Yeah! Of course!
A lot of vegetarians and vegans are breastfeeders because they believe in a healthy and natural lifestyle.

Vegans should NOT be parents. They pass on a ridiculous ideology to their offspring, so that their offspring end up being socially disfunctional.
