My favorite places to find boxes:
Supermarket - lot of sizes, not always sturdy
Liquor Store - kinda small but usually strong
Furniture Store - big boxes but not designed to hold things as much as protect things
WalMart does sell moving boxes and shipping boxes if you need a particular size that you can't find. They also offer a double walled heavy duty box that is really good for fragile things that are also heavy (like sets of dishes, etc).
Don't forget to buy a tape gun and extra rolls of tape, you will use more than you can imagine. A good pair of gloves will also keep your hands from getting so fatigued when you're carring all those boxes.

you pick to apply the cupboard area you do have so i'd propose searching an ornamental way of protecting the closets so as that in spite of you keep in there can't be considered. the finest way may likely be with a textile on a particularly rod that you'll quite slide to the aspect. lower than the mattress is an effective storage section and buying risers on your mattress body promises you with even better room below. To make the perfect use of the closets you do have, purchase putting organizers for shoes, handbags, sweaters, and so on. ornamental packing packing containers and baskets look astounding and serve a purpose. Flat such issues as artwork or a rolled up rug should be saved lower than a settee or behind a settee or enormous piece of furniture.

If you'd like to get free boxes, go to any grocery, conveniance, or pharmacy store (like CVS) and ask them if they have any available boxes in the back. If they do not have any at the time, ask when their next shipment comes in and if they can hold a few boxes for you. It's better to arrange a time with them, though, because they may forget. Alot of places, like CVS (I used to work there), have their own compactor to crush boxes so you have to ask them before they get new boxes.
If you can't get any or not enough, you can also buy them at home improvement stores like Lowes or Home Depot for a lot less than at moving companies / truck rental places. Try to stick with small to medium boxes because it's easier to carry and move compact boxes than big, bulky, heavy boxes. Trust me. Just make sure to store your boxes in a dry place (like the attic) when you're done moving so that you have them for next time!

Besides the fact that you can buy them through places that rent the moving trucks, I know that having to buy boxes just makes you cringe. So here is what I did when I had to move. I went to the local grocery stores, dollar stores, and convience stores. They were more that happy to let me have the boxes since it saved them room on the dumpster so they could throw away other trash.

Grocery stores are a good place. Ask them when they usually get their deliveries and show up shortly after. They'll be only too glad to get rid of the boxes. Just make sure the boxes you take are a good size but not too big or they'll be too heavy to lift and can break open.

Storage facilties, the monthly rental places usually sell boxes of many sizes. Also if you go to grocery stores about 12 am. The stocking crew will have boxes of medium sizes.

U-haul sells packing boxes- for free try the Supermarkets and Dollar stores , places like that- don't bother at Wal Mart, they save them and sell the scrap.

ask at your local supermarket. They often get lots of boxes--not always the best quality and somtimes they close to reveal a portion of what's inside but they are great for stuffed animals, pillows, comforters etc. You can use the good ones for valuables and breakables.

Go to the supermarket in the morning, they often have them. Ask them when they have alot too. Some days they may have more. Best bets are cereal, diapers and soda cases.
If you want to purchase boxes, your local Home Depot.
