What is the worst excuse for not coming in or being late that you've ever heard?
The worst I've heard came from an employee who said that she was hungover and had done, "dude, like, 18 shots" last night.

This guy at our work actually had the nerve to tell the boss the reason he was late is that he hadn't been laid in 3 years and she wanted more in the morning. Hope it was good because his day ended at noon!

The worst excuse I heard is the employee claiming to take her husband to the ER the prior night. The worst part was she didn't know her husband called the office looking for her.

a guy at work used this one yesterday. "i won't be in today cause my back hurts so badly that i can't walk. i'll be in tomorrow." i guess he made a miraculous recovery. could be he's an alcoholic and it was a monday morning.
