those are folk stories but i believe that some ssociety or civilzation in the past do have techology but were not advanced as ours and one day people will look back to this civilzation and say that their was not advanced as our. most of our teachology and ivensations came from the accient society which serves as a blue print

yes they used giant crystals [much like using crystals in radio etc etc .]
but like all society's they abused their powers and the very thing they used for good also was used for negative purposes and backfired ,much like our atomic and nuclear technologies .
i believe they not only destroyed their own world but feel this is the flooding of a good portion of the earth the bible story of Noah [which is based on truth but not the way they tell it .
