Hmmm....Mainly #8, 9 and 10
Random Acts of Kindness
1. Look people in the eyes, and smile. Even a small smile might make someones day. Or, they will wonder what you are up too.
2. Open and hold doors for anyone. And always meet a persons eyes and say "Thank you!" when someone holds the door for you. (I hate it when I hold the door for someone, and they just walk in like you aren't even there, RUDE!!)
3. Once a day, let someone go ahead of you in a line. You will be surprised how that can make the other person feel, and you should feel good too.
4. Call your Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Aunt or Uncle, Grandparents, or your best friend, at least once a month and just tell them you love them. If you are not getting along, you should try to find a way to fix what ever is wrong. Life is too short to spend it angry with the people who love you. (Even if they are mad, they still love you, or visa versa.)
5. Write and send a love letter to your husband/wife. I actually mean hand write it and send it through the mail. It's always fun to receive mail. Your kids would love to get a letter too.
6. Bury a treasure. Make a map, leave clues. Spend the day with your kids finding it. How much fun is finding buried treasure?
7. Go on a photo safari with you family. Give everyone their own camera. Kids take some interesting pictures. It can give you perspective to look at the pictures that they take.
8. Bake some bread or cookies, and give them to a lonely neighbor. Spend some time visiting with them. How much do you think it would mean to them to feel that you took some time to spend with them.
9. "Adopt" a family needing help. You can go to your local social services department and inquire what programs are available. Get your children involved, kids learn by example. If they see the good they are helping with, hopefully they will carry it on into adulthood. (and you never know when you may need help)
10. Make care kits, include soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, small first aid kit, if it's winter, include a hat, gloves and a scarf or a blanket. If you can afford it, a $20.00 gift card to a local super market or discount store, like WalMart. Pack everything into an inexpensive back pack or duffle bag. Give them to homeless people. Even small kindness can give great rewards.
11. Offer to take a family member or friend's kids for a night so they can go out or stay in, and be adults together for a while.
I think that helping other people, or just being kind can make a change. All things start small.

Don't buy that expensive Lexus SUV, take the $20K you saved by buying a Hyundai and you can feed A LOT of people.
You will get far, far more enjoyment by using $500 to help the truly needy than spending it on clothes or fancy restaurants.
Only have limited funds to help? Go to a poor neighborhood and offer to pay someone's electric bill that month (write a check out to the electric company to be safe). Take a bag of groceries to a home where you know they are struggling to make ends meet.
Stop by your neighbors and invite them to church. If they refuse, offer to take their kids with you when you and your family goes.
Prayer.
The options are limitless. Think a bit and you'll come up with many.
