No. First, Syria and Iran sponsor Hezbollah, so it isn't in their interest to stop them. Second, while everyone was concentrated on Bush using s swear word, Blair made a very good point. If Hezbollah get out of Lebanon, if Iraq goes well, if Iran is resolved, then where does that leave Syria. It leaves them next on the list.

Better question - Does Syria want to stop Hezbollah? I think they answer to that is a big resounding NO. If they did have the desire to be helpful, Syria would already be condemning the raids on Israeli soldiers and would be insisting on their return and a cease fire.

The real question is why does the U.S. pay nearly one/third of Israel's Budget and 1/2 of its military, but the US can't do nothing to stop them!!!
If you are not mad at Israel yet ... wait until you see the higher gas prices in a couple of days ...
Two Israeli's get kidnapped and I pay more in gas ... I am glad the US has its priorities straight

its the christian world fighting the jewish state of Israel who took the lands they occupy now over 55 years ago.
THIS war with Israel will never end till ISRAEL denounces its claim to statehood and returns the land to its right-full owners .
THE christians that have occupied the area for as long as the jews have .
