Biological intelligences base their behaviors on two things, survival and procreation. Artificial intelligence systems will not be bound by those desires. It can have any desire the creator, or user for that matter, wants. That will give rise to a far more complex study of psychology, and how minds, biological or artificial, work.

Isaac Asimov introduced in his early short stories the idea of a phsychologist that worked only with robots, and AI. I do not think that is very far fetched. When artificial general intelligence becomes common, computer techs will have to be well versed in digital psychology as well. (Did I just coin a new term?)
