If a woman wants an abortion that's fine. If a pregnant woman gets into a car accident and loses the child it's vehicular manslaughter. If that's the case shouldn't an abortion doctor be tried for premeditated murder and the mother charged as an accesory to murder?

Very good question and the answer is upon conception the egg fertilised by the sperm becomes a life with a soul. The rest is a development of the body from a single cell to the time the soul leaves this body upon death. This foetus is no More dead than you or I, but in many cased inconvenient so we label it as expendable and terminate it(kill, murder).

We as mankind don't respect life and to kill someone so Innocent on non-medical ground shows how lacking humanity really is. Here in Australia we murder (abort) around 100,000 unborn babies a year paid but the government under the guideline of choice, but where is the child's choice or rights! Don't any of the people who support abortions even think that if their parents supported their views and acted on them they would not exist. This is how crazy this all is and so very sad! :(

Yes! People have the choice and ways to not have children.Death should not be included as an alternative!Rape or health issues should be the only legal reason for abortions!

it depends on the state, but it one state a child is not considered a person until given birth to so no a fetus is not a child in this state (im not sure which state it is though) but other states vary.
