Do you seriously believe that George W. Bush is the second coming of Christ? Wow...we're all screwed then. I always thought Jesus was a peaceful fellow...that's what I was always taught. Would Jesus invade an unprovoking country and overthrow it's government? You are terribly misled.

Huh? Exactly how do you believe that Jesus Christ is in the White House? Do you mean in a physical, corporeal body? Or possibly in the form of the Holy Spirit?
The problem with "the left" is that they believe that government can provide solutions to people's problems. This is a fallacy. People must solve their own problems. Government can provide some support in certain situations, but even then is more likely to make things worse rather than better. In addition, the cost of government assistance tend to be inflated.

They believe that asking Jesus should to help you make decisions is fine, and believeing in Jesus is okay, but you should not make your beliefs a spectacle. The president's religious beliefs should be his own private matter, and Jesus even forbid public, self serving-prayer.
The only reason GW makes such a spectacle of his own beliefs is because they got him elected. The republican party intentionally started a grassroots campaign in local churches, with a promise that protestant values and beliefs would be held dear in the government. So GW has to at least appear to be letting Jesus dictate his decisions.

What's wrong with you. I'm a Republican and a major supporter of this President. This President is granted a man of faith, but he isn't Jesus. Get you head out of the bible, and see what is around you. You make the republicans look as wacky as the left wing radicals are making the democrats look wacky.

Seperation of Church and State??...dont make me laugh. Our entire government and judicial system is based on our religous beleifs. The only reason the left wants it to be removed is because they are all immoral. Seperation of Church and State is meant to be more literal. Before we Revolted against England...the Religous leaders(leaders of the church) were making political policy. That was bad, but it doesnt mean you shouldnt use religion to be a moral guide. Just dont let your pastor/preist or other religous representative help you make decisions.

Some people on the left just refuse to believe the truth and don't want to be confused by the facts.
