If I could live again my life,
In the next - I'll try,
- to make more mistakes,
I won't try to be so perfect,
I'll be more relaxed,
I'll be more full - than I am now,
In fact, I'll take fewer things seriously,
I'll be less hygienic,
I'll take more risks,
I'll take more trips,
I'll watch more sunsets,
I'll climb more mountains,
I'll swim more rivers,
I'll go to more places - I've never been,
I'll eat more ice creams and less (lime) beans,
I'll have more real problems - and less imaginary
ones,
I was one of those people who live
prudent and prolific lives -
each minute of his life,
Off course that I had moments of joy - but,
if I could go back I'll try to have only good moments,

If you don't know - that's what life is made of,
Don't lose the now!

I was one of those who never goes anywhere
without a thermometer,
without a hot-water bottle,
and without an umbrella and without a parachute,

If I could live again - I will travel light,
If I could live again - I'll try to work bare feet
at the beginning of spring till
the end of autumn,
I'll ride more carts,
I'll watch more sunrises and play with more children,
If I have the life to live - but now I am 85,
- and I know that I am dying ...

Instants

It sums it all

I 'm like most of the people that have already answered your question really!! i have 100's of regrets which range from splitting up wiyh boyfriends to not buying the shoes i saw in the sale last week (which had bloody gone when i did go back 4 them!!)
Think one of my biggest regrets is that i'm to soft & let people walk all ova me-i end up always lending stuff out & never getting it back, i always do stuff 4 people, just 4 a peaceful easy life!! I wish i was like most people and could toughen up really and stop people taking my nice nature for a ride!!!

That I let people walk all over me, I used to think this would make me a better person and that I would be more liked and appreciated, yet when I asked those I'd helped over the years for a little help myself, I didnt get it, a very difficult thing to come to terms with when I think of the time, energy, effort and in some cases, the monetary cost of what I had done for so many others. I have found out the hard way and I regret people taking me for a ride

I regret not being there for my Brother in a way that may have prevented him from killing himself.

That said, it provided me with a strong meaning in my life for learning and growing so I can be there for others in need. From this I have helped many people and I have found great spiritual and emotional rewards and through this I have been massively motivated to improve my life and to help and give to others even more.

Through this I have made some magnificent friends and will make a much more positive contribution to life in future.

So I find that despite my regret, I and many many other people will benefit from the knowledge I have gained since.

Whatever happens in your journey through life, you can choose what it means and you can choose what you are going to do in response to it.

Life can be wonderful, when you choose it!

My biggest regret is that I didn't meet my fiance sooner! But I know that it happened when it was meant to happen so I probably don't have any regrets. What happens is in the past - no point in dwelling its part of learning and makes us into the strong people that we are today.

I got a college degree in nursing. I hated, no LOATHED, nursing school. I cried every night, but yet I got the damn degree. Now I hate every nursing job I ever had. I finally gave up nursing and am teaching science to middle school kids at a small private school. Pay is for crap, but I love it. That nursing degree haunts me every day. Big regret there, especially when my student loan comes due every month!!

That I cannot stop the terrible wars and injustice in the world.
I should have gone into politics when I had the chance. But then I was not prepared to give up my ideas for a party line (and I still would find that hard to do).

Having a drug addiction. Things I did when I was on drugs. Not staying sober after going to rehab the first time. Most importantly sleeping around. I wish I would have waited for marriage.

That I ate too much every day.

That I did a degree course which qualifies me for nothing.

That I never saw the first LOTR at the cinema.

That I didn't go to the doctor when I first started to lose feeling in my legs.

That I left my boyfriend's niece alone with my pet giant land snail (may it rest in peace).
