Guest, guest and guest. I never host bbq's because they are the most thankless of all parties. People come to your house, eat the food you've been slaving over all day in 5 minutes, drink way too much and trash everything. Later you're left with an extremely drunk man passed out on your couch and a grill that will take days to scrub clean.

Depends if you are a guest there could be people at the bbq you don't like while if its your own bbq you don't invite ones you don't get on with .
But like you say I enjoy cooking but a bbq is watch everything all the time as they burn so quick ...
Solution bbq at home get good guests and husband cooks .
while I relax glass in hand and hey Wheres my burger!!!

I usually host the bbq, my boyfriend is a chef and he always does really nice food. The last bbq I went to as a guest gave me food poisoning and was just boring sausages and burgers. Plus you dont have to worry about getting home!

I'd definetly rather be a guest PROVIDED THAT I KNOW WHAT IS BEING COOKED!

I mean, I wouldn't go to anybody's BBQ coz maybe someone is trying to get rid of his neighbour's pet. In such a case there is a possibility of eating grilled *****-cat instead of chicken!

But anyway, I can't cook anything by myself so, yes I'd rather be a guest of person whom I trust and who knows how to cook well (I don't want any salmonellas or throat ring-worms in me!)

i would rather be a guest because then you don't have to go around all the time and talk to everyone and get the food and everything. If you're a guest then you can hang around with your friends, relax and enjoy the food!!!

Be a guest! You get to sit there and just drink and eat then leave all the clearing up behind at the end of the night!
