Some people hate them, some think they are hot. I personally, if they are done well, love them on both guys and girls. Its an expression of someone's personality through art. What are your thoughts?

yes, i have 5. my oldest daughter just had her first one done. personally, i could care less what people think, my motto is, NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. people who say, picture what your skin will look like when your older amuse....WHO THE HELL CARES??? when i'm old my skin is going to be nasty anyways, so does it really matter??? i could get hit by the mack truck today ya know???

I love them and my husband on the other hand is a little different. He has one, and I have 5. He thinks it's too many. We had the whole "it's my body" conversation, and he gets over the tattoos and will look at them and find new things every time. I love art and self expression. The only place I don't like them is on the face.

i love em. all of mine have a meaning of some significant part of my life. i think there's two types of "tattoo people".
one kind likes em for the art, the other type likes em as symbols of their life. i love em all. gonna get one on my right calf, the old school comic, "keep on trucking". it's symbolic of the crazy time i had in the 70's. i'm still crazy, just older.

I don't like them.
Every time I see someone with a tattoo I think...wonder how dumb their going to look when they get old and their in a nursing home and some young nurse has to wash their wrinkly butt with the big tattoo on it?? :)

I don't have anything against tattoos particularly, but I won't date a girl if she has a visible tattoo (unless it's small). I keep picturing what it would look like in 20 years... yuck.

Yes and no. they look good when they are first done of course and you can up keep them by getting redone, however kept small and hidden are generally much nicer as when you get old they too get old and wrinkle with your skin. That's when they are no longer attractive.

Nope...I love them.
I think they are a very artistic way expressing ones self. I have two myself, one of which I designed. I think if done correctly they are a beautiful way of showing who you are.

yes, i have 6, but dont like them anymore. LOL. im getting a 7th am old enough to know now ill like this one. its for my daughter ;) anyone have a good pic of a lily tattoo?

As long as they're on anyone but me, they're fine. I'm allergic to pain and avoid tattoos, piercings, and so on.
