If you define superhero as having magical powers no. If you define a super hero as someone that could kick the crap out of most other "superheros" then hell yes he is.

It is true that Batman does not have super powers but this does not mean he is not a superhero. What makes him a superhero is his nobility and honor to stand up for those who can't defend themselves; to risk his life to protect the innocent. If we've learned anything from Spiderman, it's "With great power, comes great responsibility." Batman's powers are his intellect and his sense of justice. It's his duty to seek revenge for the murder of his parents by eliminating criminal threats one at a time.

Batman is a legitimate superhero, while he's not a mutant like Spiderman or an alien like Superman etc, it's cool for a wealthy man to create all kinds of gear to combat crime in the dark city of Gotham.

okay, then lets see you take the cape.. Batman has been kicking but for years..look at Bain on of his tougher opponents.. This guy is as strong as ten humans and although he broke the cape crusadurs back, he rose again to finish him off. And the fact that Baman is just a man as you say gives him all the more reason to be called a superhero... Sure superman is one tough cookie, but he could be lazy, batman always has to be on his toes... Give the guy a break..

Having super powers doesn't make you a super hero, it the will and strength to do something about injustice. Because Batman doesn't have these " powers" he uses his money to better society. And as for you commit about "few brains" I honestly think he's the only Hero who has one.

No. Super Heroes need Super Powers. He's just a guy. I like him and all, but he isn't a Super Hero.
