You need to go see a doctor. A yeast infection shouldn't stop your period. Being afraid is normal, but you have to do it anyway for your own good. Worse things can happen because of fear of taking action.

There may be something else going on there
Because even with a yeast infection your period should come
Maybe you have a thyroid problem, I would tell a Dr
Don't be afraid, Dr's deal with this stuff ALL the time

You really should tell your doctor. There could be something more serious than a yeast infection. Yeast infections usually don't last a year. See the DOC.

An entire year???? Girl, if you know any better today would be the day you get ya butt to a doctor..Hope you havent been having sex, just spreading all your infection around...Your period is a major consern too...this means you need to go get yourself checked out ASAP...

Please try to see a good gynaecologist for this, because this can be a contributory factor to that. This infection can destroy a lot and even urinary tracks which which leads to infertility in the future. And also note that you must be treated with your partner, in case you keep multiple hey time to stop!

Afraid to tell anyone? Sweetheart you only get one reproductive system....take care of it. Get off the computer. Call your mother. Tell her you think it's time you saw an ob/gyn. Explain your symptoms. Make an appointment.
